nScan.io is showing 29k nodes today, i got a lot of nodes that shows “offline” in nStatus and in Node Manager from nknx.org… something wrong with the network?
You can use explorer.nkn.org at the meantime.

I’m new here, and i’m would strart this new project, startink a node to mine some nkn.
I’m trying to configure a new node, step by step looking at Web-UI for NKN mining nodes (Windows Edition), but i have some problems.
I have open ports on my router ( 30001-30005) and made static internal ip on my pc to associate ports forwarding, updated and renamed the file config.json, I’have a dynamic public ip by my internet provider, but while trying to execute the command throuth cmd my system respond me :

Hello - I’ve transferred 10 nkn from my web wallet to my local node mining wallet but don’t see the funds yet? My node is still syncing. I’m assuming the funds will show when syncing is complete?
You can check your wallet status on nscan.io, to check if indeed 10 NKN has left your web wallet and get into your local wallet. If everything goes all right, you local wallet address should have a generate id transaction associated with it.
And if you node is already syncing, that means the 10 NKN generate ID fee is already paid. Otherwise the node will be stuck in generate id. Now you are on your way to have a fully mining node, once the chain database is fully sync’d.
First off I have to say this has been more of a pain than I thought it would be - but I really appreciate the quick responses from the team. so the 10 nkn generation ID - it’s a fee that’s paid? - I thought it was more of a proof of stake where you the funds are yours but will be removed if it proves to be spam. Just hoping for some clarification and thank you for the link to nscan, I think it would be helpful if you put that link on the wallet website.
Hi, the 10 NKN is a one-time fee for new node, and it is paid back into general mining pool for all miners to share. It is not a staking mechanism. Details about why we introduced this 10 NKN fee can be found here:
Hi, I got all up and running but it says it has insufficient funds to create id. I am trying to send NKN to my nkn.org wallet but the address is not being recognized. I checked nscan.io for that the address and it shows up. Any ideas what is wrong?

Hi there are two types of NKN tokens:
- ERC-20 NKN: most exchange supports
- Mainnet NKN: mining and NKN services (Upbit supports)
So it might be that you are trying to send ERC-20 NKN tokens to a mainnet address? If that is the case, you need to swap them into NKN mainnet first via
Hi! I swapped NKN and sent to my beneficiary wallet to pay for the ID. When I start the node it still says not enough funds to create the ID.
I can see ID generation fee on nscan.io was processed 10 hours ago.
Update: I managed to start the node, but it shuts down by itself after some time synchronizing only 20 to 30.000 block heights at the time. How can I make it stay up and running?
