ALLinONE-nknnode script, deploy nodes faster, with your own ChainDB!

Are you start to improve the nkn dashborad?

BTW,How many relays you got for 40+ nodes?

The issue happens when youā€™ve successfully downloaded the ChainDB, you get the confirmation and type in ā€œexitā€.
Until that, on another window you can see the node perfectly running.

Even if I close the window, instead of exiting, everything will be uninstalled

What about the new version 2.0.9, does your script have auto-updater or how do we follow from here? thx

all the nodes will auto update in time.

Thereā€™s also a new feature in 2.0.9 to further compress the ChainDB so it should be a little smaller when weā€™re creating it.

Also fixing up a few bugs currently.

Sorry to hear that, I will investigate

I donā€™t have the time to improve dashboard. You can learn to code and do it

1ļ¼ŒGot it.
2,Can I switch the DB file manually when vps is mining? If so, when I reboot my vps, the mining program will automatic run againļ¼Ÿ
Thank you !

as I said iā€™m testing fixes right now, so I would advise against using the script right now. But yes it is still up on server.

Great to hear that! IĀ“m checking my nodes and some are running the new v2.0.9 already

The same as mine. A few are v2.0.9 .

If you really want, you can force them to upupdate by connecting to the server and restarting the service:

sudo systemctl restart nkn-commercial.service

Thanks! iĀ“ll wait until block 2543000 to see what happens, if some nodes doesnĀ“t update automatically iĀ“ll do it manually

When arrived 2543000 ,my node shows ā€œnode pruning blockchainā€ļ¼Œauto update

we are not there yet, 2542165

The script is back!!

Updated:
In advanced under no 4 theres a new feature, to update your old ChainDB archives with a new properly pruned ChainDB (new feature in 2.0.9 nodes) (Only do this on a server with full persistent node and enough disk space, old DB will be removed)

@muko i think i fixed your firewall warning problem try running the scipt now, script was starting up the firewall and then the node install was blocked by my own stupid settings, my bad

Enjoy!!
If you find any bugs let me know!

Thanks for your support.

In the mean time Iā€™ve tried to build my own fully automated (for unattended deployā€¦ ) starting from your own.
Iā€™ve noticed that, I donā€™t know if due to the v2.0.9 update, that now after the pruned is downloadedā€¦
ā€¦if I start the node, it completely destroy the ChainDB directory and resync from scratch the database.

I use the pruned DB from nkn.org as a source.

Is it normal?

You have to ā€œinsert itā€ at the right moment.

Had the same problem.

You have to start up the service, wait for it to generate the wallet.json file, I also wait for it to generate the ChainDB folder, then stop the service, delete and extract the db

I realized that having a look on your new script.
Thanks.

Iā€™m trying to adapt mine for arm.

Did you find any difference between amd/intel and arm? One or more cores?

Is there some where that I can download the DB file?
I download from nkn.org, the speed low to like 200k/s, holyā€¦
