NKN testnet code development progress over the last two weeks is mainly reflected in nkn, nkn-wallet-js, nnet, and nkn-mining repositories and different branches.

System Architecture and Product Focus
On May 8th, NKN published a new blog post entitled, “NKN system architecture and product focus” on the NKN Forum. The post provides an update to the system architecture which describes the 6 layers of NKN’s architecture from the Network Layer to Applications. The article shows how NKN’s new flagship products: nCDN and Pub/Sub, fit into NKN’s architecture plans as well as highlight the key advantages of the NKN network.

NKN at Consensus 2019
NKN Co-Founder, Brue Li, attended the Consensus 2019 conference in New York from May 13-15th. The conference brings together the cryptocurrency and blockchain technology world with speakers from companies such as IBM and Coinbase as well as representatives from the government sector and innovative startups. Bruce will be spreading awareness of NKN at the event speaking with media and partners alike.

New Resource Manager for NKN WiFi Router
Special thanks to community member Allen Key for his great work integrating NKN Full Node into a WiFi Router (firmware now supports two mainstream WiFi routers from Newifi3 and Phicomm). On May 2nd, Allen added a new “Resource Manager” feature showing CPU and connection usage over time, as well as other monitoring features to the graphic user interface for miners
